2.9.35 login problem

Just installed the 2.9.35 to a HDD, moved the HDD to other computer which will be the router and completed the installation.

It then get to the point when I enter username and password. Default ones worked well (admin / nothing)

It then showed me that I have 23h59min to Licence the router. OK, I pressed enter and got to the
admin@MikroTik: _ console…

And there the problems start. Whatever I typed into a console from this point on, I would just be redirected to the Login again. And I login again and type “setup”, it just appears “Login” again. I try to type ? to see commands, but just after i press the ? button, it goes again to the Login… and keeps looping…

So no way to set it up… even those basic thing so I could access it from Winbox…

Can anyone help what to do or do I really have to reinstall it…

please try installing newer version, and verify if this HDD boot ok on other system (for test, due to some HW problems it could log you out)

EDIT:

also SW problems can cause this, so better reisntall, and check, and then test on another system.

pleace note in your calculation that ROS is licensed on your harddrive, and you can port that to whatever PC you like, but if HDD breaks, you will have to pay for replacement license.
