Just wondering if anyone has opinions on the latest 2.9 beta and the hotspot functionality. We’d like to try it on a production machine (not with a wireless card, but just with 2 ethernet ports as a gateway hotspot router. To Mikrotik - as far as features and and completeness - is it done or are you planning to add/remove things from it? Or is it just a matter of working out bugs (if any)?
Same here… except that we’re putting this into production as soon as we can get hotspot and PPPoE set up. Having real trouble trying to get to the how-to’s online or any other documentation. So far, all we’ve been able to do is repeatedly and with great precision lock ourselves out of our own router.
If it helps, I’d be willing to offer space as a mirror site just to get access to the documentation… I’ve been trying for 10 days, and all I get from the server is (eventually) the site map.
