2.9 CD-ROM Bug

hi guys
i just installed 2.9 demo which it booted from CD-rom (primary slave) and hd (primary master) but it says it can’t detect the cd-rom even though it could read it to boot, so I just use another ide cable to put it as secondary slave and it was working then, this problem was not exist in 2.8 versions

I found if you install 2.9 on a HDD you can never boot a 2.8 iso after that. Also I had the problem vise versa on a different HDD?

Very funny thing that just now I tried to install 2.9 rc5 and even with separate IDE cable it is impossible to to install mt.

does that mean that my eyes is not seeing the right thing? or does that mean that it works on your hardware there is no problem to be fixed?

it means that it works on all our hardware here, and you should try to install it on a different PC

me 2 guys i cant install rc6 but rc 5 its fine

rc6 cd install do not work ?

I’ve notice that certain Mikrotik builds have problems with various CD-ROMs
