I have upgraded some 2.8.27 devices to the 2.9rc6 but now logging with the mikrotik syslog daemon does not seem to work at all. I have added remote to the logging for critical, system, wireless, and warnings with the remote with the IP address of the computer running the syslog daemon but nothing is being logged.
