Hello
I didn’t find a answer to my question on this forum, so i opened this new topic.
I have a cable modem, which allows me to get 2 IP’s by DHCP and i want to use them for a kind of LAN/DMZ scenario.
For clarity, i’ll describe, what i had in my previous setup: Modem connected to a switch. Two router/firewalls, both connected to the switch (WAN side), resulting in two independent networks.
On my mikrotik router I thought i could create two virtual interfaces on one Ethernet Port, which is connected to the modem, assign DHCP Client on both of them and get to IP’s from my Provider. I tried to create a bridge between two vif-interfaces and the ethernet port, which is connected to my modem so far.
Can anyone describe me some method i could realize that setup? I would apperciate any little hint.
regards
scira
