I buy a RB951G-2HnD and i make a Virtual AP. Now i need to make 2 dhcp server one on my Wlan AP and other on Virtual AP. When i make the DHCP server on each port (wlan1 et VAP) all is red???. I had the bridge actived like the default config.
Make sure that you have an IP number assigned to the interface before you try attaching a DHCP server to it. If a bridge is attached to the WLAN or VAP interface then the IP number and DHCP servers should be applied to the bridge.
But i need a DHCP server for the Wlan and a DHCP server for the VAP. This for make two different POOL and after make rule.
Make sure that you put the DHCP servers on the bridges if the WLAN / VAP interfaces are members of a bridge. Also make sure that you place IP numbers on the bridges. If that doesn’t work upload your config.
But is possible to put two DHCP server on the same Bridge?
Normally you wouldn’t be trying to do that. Typically a VAP is used to direct the VAP traffic to a distinct broadcast domain from the main AP. Maybe you can explain what you are actually trying to achieve?
I need to limit the acces at my daughter. I need a full acces for my and limited access (time access) for my daughter and friends!
That doesn’t explain why you would have a VAP and & WLAn interface and then bridge them together. I suspect that you actually want to keep them apart.
I remove the bridge on the VOP, make adress for interface. After i build addresses lists in the firewall rule and drop this lists. all works … sorry for english!
