Hey there. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while, and not having much luck. I have a Mikrotik 3011RB mounted, and we are getting a single handoff from a router that is upstream. We will be getting 2 IP address from this handoff. 1 IP for ISP-A(primary) and 1 IP for ISP-B(secondary/failover). I’m able to set the IP’s up in the address list, and divert all the traffic to the primary ISP (A), but I would like to setup a failover that would move all the traffic from ISP-A, to ISP-B, but only using a single WAN port. I’m not trying to do any load-balancing, just a failover setup where ISP-B comes in to effect if ISP-A is unreachable.
I think this has to be done with in the routes, but I can’t figure out how set them up correctly.
I’m currently running RouterOS v6.39.1 on RB3011UiAS. 2 LAN’s, with a single WAN port, setup with dual public IP’s from 2 different ISP’s.
Thanks in advance for the help. It’s much appreciated.
