Hi,
I’m trying to get the best speed out of my new RBSXTG-5HPacD but it is still not working.
Before I had 2 Sextants at the same place where I now have RBSXTG-5HPacD
With the sextants I allwasy have a stable speed of 300Mbps wireless.
But with the RBSXTG-5HPacD the speed is verry unstable. It is going up and down.
I try different settings but still no good result.
Can someone give me some good tips?
I use these devices to bridge two buildings.
This are the settings:

Does nobody have any suggestion?
The TX / RX Signal is good I think. 44 / 46

Try with 20 Mhz bandwidth and eCee

Try this setting as well.
Still it is not stable and allso no high speed as well.
What is the speed?
What is the signal?

Hi this are some signal values:
Tx/Rx Signal Strength: -42/-43 dBm
Tx/Rx Signal Strength Ch0: -42/-43 dBm
Tx/Rx Signal Strength Ch1: -63/-63 dBm
Noice Floor: -103 dBm
Signal To Noise: 61 dB
Tx/Rx CCQ: 84/90 %
RouterOSVersion 6.20
The TX rate and Rx rate are not stabel and are between the 24 and 375 Mbps
When I had two Sextants the Tx and Rx rate are constantly 300 Mbps
When I now copy large files from one side to the other I see a speed of 5MBps and think it is not fast.
With the Sextants I had a speed of 13 MB/ps when I copy large files

Hi, Thanks,
I hope to do this tonight.
I let you know.

please upgrade the RouterOS to this test release:
http://www.mikrotik.com/download/share/routeros-mipsbe-6latest.npk
Then reset the wireless configuration and use the default values and change only the band,channel-width,ssid and the frequency.
Then check what signal you have when you use the same wireless frequency and channel-width that you had on the Sextant units.
Are you sure that you have clear line of sight and good Fresnel zone as the chain1 signal is by 20db lower than chain0?

Thanks for your commend.
Yes I have sure a free line of sight.
But about the freshnel zone I’m not sure.
Both antenna’s are at 8 Meters above the ground
The distance between the two antenna’s is about 300 meters
In between the antannas there are shelters but not to high.
I think about 3 meters.

This is not the problem on this distance

I make a reset to the wireless interface and used the above configuration. and use the frequency that is suitable for my location.
the rx rate is around 1Mbps.
the distance is less than 700 meters. I’m using RBSXTG-5HPacD which I’m still unable to get a speed higher than 90 Mbps.
what can be done the get out the most of it.

Have you a perfect line of sight?
Have you interference from other accesspoints?
Try with another frequency (channel)
Try with 802.11 protocol as experiment

Update both devices to 6.21.rc22
No change in the netwerk.
Still the same instable situation.
