Hallo,
I have got 2 locations A & B. On A there are the customers and on B there is the internet connection for the customers.
Between these locations are 2 wireless links. I want that the download traffic runs over one link and the upload over the other link.
On both sides is a RB750 and on eth-port1 there is on both sides the connection of wireless-link1 and on eth-port2 the connection of link2.
I have got a working solution with 2 subnets for both links and with the help of routing distance it works fine with failover.
But I want to know is there a solution based on mac-level with help of bridges (stp, costs, priority and so on)? So I don’t need extra routes and extra subnets.
In my test with a bridge and STP only one wireless-link or rather one interface can be active of the routerboards. I have failover but I only can use wireless-link1 with up&download or wireless-link2 with up&download. The separation for the up&download over the two links seems not be possible.
Is this scenario possible only with the help of bridges?
Regards
TomTom
