24 Port RouterBoard with mostly SFP cages??

Doing an active ethernet fiber to the home project.

Would really like to use a RouterBoard SFP “switch” instead of a Dell 6000F series.

Is there any indication that there will be a 24 port SFP switch with a few 1000GB copper ports?

Sort of the opposite of the new CloudCore 24 port routers?

I would like to have at least two SFP cages … my Christmas wish I guess.

pcunite, they already have several routerboard products with two or four SFP cages.

But if you are talking about the 2011 series, then yes, it would be good to have two SFP cages in a version of that as well.

I need 20+ SFP cages though.

Not enough ports, I need 20+ per 1U.

Mikrotik just hurry up and partner with Broadcom.

Then we can have nice wirespeed L2/L3 switches with RouterOS on them, and ADSL/VDSL modems with RouterOS.
