250GS snmp problem

Device i’m probing is 250GS. When I select a port using The Dude 3.6 or 4.0 beta3, it disappears once probed and I get an error on the link.

Do you use the latest version of SwOS?
Are you able to reproduce the same problem?

yes i use lates software version
Serial Number: 24FA0197B109
Version 1.5

there are some readings on history graph
on the network map i got only 0 and unknown state
in the snmp interlace port3 is with 0 reading on the next read port 3 is missing and cycling this way 0,missing,0 missing …
i can reproduce same with other ports
ty in advance

I also have this exact same problem. 1.1 firmware on the switch, RouterOS 5.5 on a 450G running Dude Server, but also tried off local server, same issue. Can’t get any port info out of it, and ports seem to disappear and reappear frequently at random.

Edit: Updated to latest SwOS, same problem persists.

Does this still happen with SWoS 1.6? (released on 15th Aug)

The latest SwOS version provides fix for SNMP, it should fix your problem.

Hi,

i just upgrade to 1.6 problem remain :frowning:

Ok, please run SNMPwalk from any Linux computer to 250GS and try to get the same values (that are not reported by Dude).
Do you get any reply?

as far i can see this value stay same IF-MIB::ifLastChange

Have you tried any other SNMP application to monitor traffic on 250GS interfaces?

No i have about 900 device in dude and happy with it and don’t like to migrate.
Rest of SNMP devices work without without a problems and dude is you application too
Btw I’m customer not bug tracker for free.

snmpwalk shows 250GS reports SNMP stats correctly.
It could be the problem of Dude, we will see what we can do.

Any news on this?

bump ?

UP!!! In the air!

Plus one!
RB250GS (SwOS 1.6) provides information about traffic only on 1st port (uplink), even my note PC is connected to 2nd port
I get information by The Dude under RouterOS x86 5.9

– Added 12/12

Just tried MIB Browser - ifInOctets.1-2 (.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1-2) and ifOutOctets.1-2 (.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.1-2) showing normally
So, it’s possible Dude’s problem

Hi! do we have updates for probable fix for SNMP reporting? I would really prefer using the dude. I have upgraded and factory reset my equipment with the same problems. Thanks.

solution: don’t use RB250GS if you need Dude+snmp

That’s the best idea. I already dropped this equipment from deploying in my network.
