2Ghz Discontinued RBLHG-2nD-XL / RBLHG-2nD / BaseBox 2, In many Site it was our only option.

We need to connect clients in points where there is a lot of interference in 5Ghz Ghz, even in 6 Ghz

We have clients between 3Km to 10Km. One solution we found was 2Ghz links.

We have even used the 2Ghz links at repetition points as backup for 60Ghz links

and last month we got the surprise from our suppliers in the USA that the equipment is discontinued

I never saw a previous formal announcement from mikrotik but now we are in trouble
Reconsider the idea of discontinuing the 2 Ghz frequency. We have several links working well , where 5 Ghz has no possibility at all due to interference.
Look at 6Ghz as it is already starting to get busy, in a few months we believe it will be the same as 5ghz

Why discontinue it if they don’t make a better, more modern product in 2Ghz?

An example of what I achieve in 2Ghz Btest 150Mbs that I cannot achieve even half of that in 5Ghz

An example of what I achieve in 2Ghz that I cannot achieve even half of that in 5Ghz, due to the amount of interference.

They should leave the 2.4 antennas or modernize them but not discontinue it, much less without prior notice to prepare ourselves

At this time we only have one lgh2 xl antenna left and we need 6 and no known supplier has it available

If anyone has and wants to sell please let me know.

uh shit, really they are. not even local distributor has them anymore.
not sure why they did it, but this is a bad info, and they also discontinued other 5ghz devices like qrt5ac and dynadish.
