2wans problem

dear all.

i have been working from weeks on using 2 wans , one for everything and the other for webproxy but didn’t have luck yet.

i made a masqurade also with no luck.
i made the load balancing it worked but if i use the 2nd wan for webproxy the browse dies while a file is being downloaded.
i don’t need a load balancing just a 2 wans each to have its specific job.

can anyone help please?

Can you make a diagram of what you are trying to do. Also, if you post some exports we can help you out more.

hi again

this is what i want public wan 1 (10.1.1.1) for every thing, and public wan2 (10.0.0.1) for only mime type downloads.

You could setup mangle rules and then route the mangle rules through the interface of your choice.

Don’t BLOCK the users from accessing mp3, mpg and ftp! You seriously risk them going to the alternative provider
