2xP3 1.4Ghz or P4HT 3Ghz?

  • Dual P3 1.4Ghz is faster for Mikrotik
  • Forget old stuff; go with P4
  • Maybe an Atom 330 will beat both P3 and P4

I have an IBM x330 server wich is max out; cpu is 80-100%. Do you think that a P4 3GH +HT will perform better?

Yes. Mikrotik is still working on full multi-processor support and many tasks are still bound to a single CPU (though different tasks can be bound to different CPUs), so generally speaking a faster clockspeed processor right now will work better for you.
