I’m getting tons of 1-6minute 100% cpu spkes which freez up the winbox interface until the spike stops.
This happens for many little tasks and some times forces a power cycle. I have 3.0b6 on 3 different RB 112s and its esentially useless as you can not do any tasks with out many reconnects via winbox or multipul power cycles.
any ideas??
EDIT: that new colorized terminal feature is very cool, but it makes the terminal almost unusable as i get get cpu spikes as a type…causing the text to be heavily delayed, and this is from a local connection
EDIT2: simply calling up ip-> hotspot on any of my 3 RB 112s causes an infinite 100% spike
EDIT3: Ok one, RB down…beeps oonce then twice on bootup but winbox does not see it nor does its ip work…
EDIT4: did a full reinstall and sys reset on the two remaining working RBs…so much as ADDING AN IP ADDRESS TO EITHER causes a 100% CPU lockup…
edit5: so far setting up user man and other operations on 3.0b6 on a WRAP 2.e has been flawless so far…will report back..there is clearly something very wrong with this release on the Routerboard side
