3.10 and 100+ Mbps routing

Hello!!!
Anybody have experiance with 3.10 and 100+ Mbps routing?
Now I have p4 3.0 Ghz 512 mb ram, 2 intel 1000 nics, 2.9.51, simple routing and setup like this. I want to upgrade, but I must be sure that 3.10 will not broke my setup and works stable.

P4-2,6GHz (Celeron?), Intel motherboard with integrated Intel Gigabit controller, 256 Mb RAM (208 Mb free )
