3.10 Support of IPSec Dead Peer Detection

Thanks to Mikrotik for adding Dead Peer Detection to IPSEC.

Please work on the following now:

  • IPSec Interface based VPN’s (Route based VPN’s)
  • Autokey Keep Alive support
  • Show IPSEC timeouts in SECONDS in WinBox and CLI
  • Using standard terms such as “DH Group 2” instead of “modp 1024”

This will allow much more flexibility and interoperability with other vendors and make Mikrotik vastly more useful in the enterprise space.
