3.13 to 3.14 caused havoc!

I upgraded all our clients (mostly RB133C, some RB411 & R411A) to 3.14, all was on 3.13.
The next morning, people started phoning from all over the place!

Here’s the setup:
LAN to client with DHCP
wlan to outdoor network, masqueraded
DNS ‘proxy’
Default route to network.
That’s it. No PPP, just plain network.

Here’s the problem:
I can log into client RB from wlan or lan side.
Winbox detects IPs on LAN.
Winbox can ping both ways.
Client can ping RB but not past it.

Here’s what I did:
Checked all settings on RB and client.
Eventually I have to /system/reset-configuration and re-input all settings, then all work just fine again.

On about 100 RB, this happened to about 20. About 10 of that 20 were fixed by a power-cycle and a software reboot!
There were also one instance of a board that, after upgrade(3.10 - 3.14), just would not see the wlan interface, just ether1, no matter what card you put in there.

Whazzup MT?
Does anyone know what can be done to fix such a RB without system-reset?

thanks
