3.18 Randomly stopped forwarding ppp traffic

I’ve got 3.18 Level 5 setup with pptp. No changes, but I login pptp today and I can’t ping (or otherwise access) any computers anywhere on the network, only the router itself. This has always worked fine. I reboot the router, and all is fine again.

I don’t know if forwarding between the non-ppp interfaces worked or not since I was not at the location.

Also, many of the numbers in the “bytes” or “packets” columns in winbox firewall were extremely large negative numbers… I don’t know if that is a connected symptom or not.

I took a supout.rif before rebooting.

Now, the firewall is not working at all. Everything is accepted, and all firewall lines say 0 bytes. Even putting drop everything at the top does not affect anything. Everything is accepted all the time.

I found the problem, whether or not this is a bug is yet to be determined.

Firewall dst-limit expire=0 causes all the firewall rules to go instantly crazy.
