both 3.21 and 3.22 are released together, you didn’t oversleep. mikrotik skipped a version this time

Edit: I’m misreading and failing /– see below.

Hi,

in 3.21 is *) added WinBox MPLS & VPLS support mpls-test package.

But i didn’t see in Winbox with Version 3.22. It’s again out in 3.22 ?

dingsingo

pppoe-scanner? what does it do and where could we find it ?

/ interface pppoe-scanner

it searches for active pppoe-servers
i personally think better would be something like dhcp alert  maybe pppoe alert?

When you add the packages for 3.22 to Dude so you can do a remote upgrade the version 3.22 doesn’t uppear under the Upgrade submenu. Any ideas ???

Where is changelog for new BIOS 2.20? http://www.routerboard.com/files/rb-2.20/CHANGELOG

*) fixed ethernet port name reordering on RB493;

what exactly does it do? will it mess up my configuration if i upgrade (e.g. what happens with the reordering)?

I was just wondering if those changes to the 450G mean that ports 2-5 can be used like a hardware switch now? I purchased one of these last week and was disappointed to find that this functionality was not supported even though it is supported in the 450 (non-G).

the new usermanager mikrotik was talking about with new features because it was said it will be included, is it included in this 3.22 ??

dprus: can’t you use any MT router as a switch ? simply make a bridge between the port witch you want to use as switch and done.

Got problems installing ROS-3.22 from an .iso - when it goes to creating partitions and formating them - kernel panics. Tryed it on various hardware (x86 like hw). Tryed out ROS-3.20 .iso - this one worked without problems.

I can second this - see the thread I created about it - http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/file-uploads-mikrotik-packages-not-recognised/27087/1

.npk files look a little different, most probably because of small changes to package format, that’s why you can’t access them through dude

no

the opposite! it will fix the messup, if there is any

But i didn’t see in Winbox with Version 3.22. It’s again out in 3.22 ?

I don’t understand your post. Upgrade and see.
