3.6 Km Ptp Link -- bad RX ccq and BW

Good morning
I was wondering if someone could give me any suggestions to improve my situation.
PtP.png
In theory, I should have a signal strength of around -65db.
The screenshot can only show a shot, but the RX values actually keep changing (ccq ranges from 29% to 70% and bw can go up to 86.6Mbs)
TX is quite stable around those values.

The thing that I cannot explain very well is why the link is so asymmetric.
It is bad in the direction that I am actually interested to. RX

Q1) Would a bad alignment create situations like above? Should not I see the same on both sides if the link is badly aligned?
Q2) Would interference create such a situation?

Any advice to troubleshoot the link are appreciated

many thanks
gianrico

Hi Gianrico,

Your link physically fine tuned because of the signal strength that you reach in the picture and the Noise floor is -101 dbm so it means the Noise is less, did you use 802.11 and test a bandwidth of the link?

What Devices you are using?
I Think Antennas are too small for this distance

Hi
thanks for your answer
The antennas are both like this one:

https://www.sicetelecom.it/prodotto/wireless/hiperlink/cpe-ac-atrh0595/

They are 23dbi have an rb911g-5hpacd inside.

  1. check alignment
  2. check Current Tx Power

To me seems also too low a signal for 3.6 km and 23dbi antennas. Alignment is the first thing to check. Than what is happening around you, frequency usage, etc.

This will not resolve the main problem - signal to low.

That is why I wrote: Check alignment (meaning: and when it is fixed, the signal should be higher) THAN check what is happening around you.
