I am preparing a backhaul to another tower 12 miles from my closest tower. 5Ghz is annihilated and I use 2.4 and 900 for my CPEs, left with something licensed. As I registered for 3.65 a while back it just seems to fit perfectly!
Ligowave and Redline have products that will work in this band, but they’re easily $2000
I can do this with 28dbi dishes and max (legal) power. I have seen reports that at 5 miles the rb411a and xr3 will do 21.5 megs TCP throughput. Can anyone else share data regarding the xr3?
