I have a customer with about 45 VoIP phones and a slightly larger number of PC/network devices. Just over 100 total devices. They have 3 ISPs, Data/VoIP/Security. Currently each ISP has its own router and I believe one physical layer with each of the 3 functions using a unique subnet.
I would like to know if anyone has setup 3 WAN connections with failover. There will be no load balancing. For the LAN, would it be better to subnet out different ethernet ports or vlan one port or vlan multiple ports? I’ll need to get more information about the LAN as I don’t yet know if they have separate drops and/or a smart switch etc…
Also wanted to know if the above is possible, Will gigabit with a 600mhz proc (RB2011) be enough?
Thanks
