New to routerOS, but I’d like to build something that would be able to support the 3g or 4g verizon (novatel) mifi pucks as a WAN modem. I don’t currently own a router with USB so I can’t test one way or another; I’m just looking for advice before I do. Has anyone had luck getting one to work or have additional info?

we have a lot better luck with cradlepoint 750; there is too much wierdness with mikrotik and 3g/4g. it works though in most cases; but you cannot read signal easily. 411u has usb port.

Novatel Wireless MIFI4510 = NOT SUPPORTED
Of course, you can make the routerboard be a wireless client to the mifi (wireless, not usb) and that would work.
