3g mini pci modem

Hello to all,

I was searching around forum and google and came up to this 3g mini pci modem:

I would like to setup wifi hotspot with 3g as an incoming internet connection. Idea is to use 411ar with above 3g mini pci modem.

Would that be possible? Or, I have to use 411u with 3g mini pci-express modem and wifi card?

Thanks to all for good replies!

Petar.

The 411AR has no simm slot and the Motorola mini pci card does not appear to have a built in one, so I doubt you could make it work.

Try using an RB411UAHR with mini pci-express - we have used a few on 3G and they work better than the Cisco 3G routers they replaced.

What mini-pci-x are you using?

Best regards

Sierra Wireless MC8795V - we have used others (all Sierra cards), but I can’t remember the model numbers. MC8795V is a current model.
