Hi,
I have just received the router board RB411UARH and installed on it my 3G modem MC8755 and the respective SIM card.
Installed the WinBox v4.5 on my PC and started playing with it and read the manual.
I was looking to understand if the router board board had detected my 3G modem MC8755.
How can i know that? Is it through the Interface List in Winbox, at the moment it´s only presenting the ethernet interface.
What should be my next step.
Best regards
Luís
Here is what little I do know.
Plug USB into PC and get the settings from it (username, email, number it dials, etc)
Power on the RB wait 60 seconds (10 secs one beep, 45 secs 2 beeps, 15 secs)
Plug in USB modem.
in Winbox > System > Ports you should see the USB port # there.
in Winbox > Interface > PPP-out1 is created when the USB is plugged in for a supported device.
General Tab (I changed the name to PPP-USBmake), changed the Port to the one from above, set APN to null.
PPP Tab (put in #777 as that is what sprint uses) User was my email for the account and password was sprint
I unchecked the Dial On Demand and I am now working on which Allows (pap, chap, mschap1 mschap2) I can remove.
There is a 3g Post in the wiki that gives the basic info also.
Good Luck.

The MC8755 is not a USB pen it´s a m-PCI Express modem card.
