3G to Wireless Conlnection

Hi,

Can anyone confirm/recomend the best Routerboard for the following, and just confirm its possible before I bill the client for making one!

3G UK SIM/Dongle for internet connection
Integrated WiFi card

Routerboard set to take the 3g signal and use it for the gateway to allow wifi clients access to the internet. 2 users. Should i supply the 3G sim so i can hard code username passwords into the routerboard?

Is it possible to have a 3g antenna and if so, are there any that fit into the black routerboard cases?

This is simply a bigger version of MiFi boxes, running from a 12v battery at an exhibition.

411u and its case will work.
The 3g usb stick will not be internal though.

Both Baltic networks http://www.balticnetworks.com
And Flex Routers http://www.flexrouters.com(and others) have predesigned 3G systems.

Pardon the “commercial” but is is very doable…

Baltic uses the Routerboard hardware, and Flex uses an Intel Atom.

The Baltic unit uses a MiniPCIe 3G card and a MiniPCI / embedded 802.11
The Flex uses a MiniPCIe (SR71e) 802.11 and a USB 3G module in a case that houses the 3G card internaly and provides an external 3G and 802.11 Ant. connections.. see above URLs for specs.
