3G USB Modem with RB411U

I have just bought a 3G USB modem from Vodafone, it is made by ZTE, Incorporated, can anybody advise me how I can get it to work with my RB411U.

This should get you going in a general direction.

Also look at these

It does not show the USB under “/port print”

look under system/ resource / usb

If it shows then take a look under ports.. then look for a USB port and set it’s rate to 9600…

you may need to send a sup out to support… they may need to add support for the device..

While you don’t state the exact model of the ZTE USB 3G device, the 636 and 637 are currently not supported.

I am using one a product from http://www.netcomm.com.au for the time being. it works, but about once a month the connection is lost and it doesn’t automatically reconnect it within a couple days.

4.1 !!!
