Any chance for some new equipment in the works with 3x3 support?

AR9390 has support for beamforming, looks interesting, and a step towards 802.11ac.

edit: I suppose my associated question is are there any mini pcie slot routerboards coming out? RB800 is a bit expensive for a single card.

It looks like we’re in the same situation. I am more concerned with the beamforming, signal reconstruction, etc, than the bandwidth. It can be a 100mb board, I will not be pushing the board.

Cyberbajt showed 3x3 antenna at MUM in Poland. It can be used with RB800 but also with ITX compilant motherboards. I know Atom boards are less usefull, but they are cheper than RB800.

I was looking at a couple of Intel ITX boards for that very reason.

Its a shame that we can build our own cheaper.

Try to find D945GSEJT or his successor DN2800MT. Both boards works OK with MikroTik.
