Hi, I am new with the Mikrotiks stuff and also a beginner in networking. I bought 4 Omnitik U-5hnd and I want to connect them to a linksys WRT54GL which is running DD-WRT. I want the linksys to be the DHCP server and all the AP to behave only as AP. I’ve done some reading but can’t get it to work. How can I desactivate the DHCP server in Router OS and do I need to fix an IP in each AP (how would I do that)

the Omnitik is an AP itself. Why do you need that linksys at all?
RouterOS DHCP configuration resides in /ip dhcp-server, client configuration is in similar place - /ip dhcp-client.
But my advice would be to start learning using omnitiks only and figure ouy how you can connect them together, after that you will see how to connect them to other devices.

actually I don’t need the Linksys. I could go with the 4 APs connected to a switch I guess. Do I need to setup one AP on wireless mode = AP bridge and the other one on Stations ? And do I just need to deactivate the DHCP server and fix an IP on the stations ?

if u configure the 4 AP as station they will no more be AP’s. You can have each AP be its own DHCP Server.
However if you want to use ur Linksys just connect it to the Omnitik. configure LInksys as the DHCP Server and do not configure any DHCP server/client on the omnitik.
They will just carry over the IP from the Linksys to ur clients connecting from the Omnitik.
Try working it and u will be able to do it.
