4011 2.5Gb SFP Module

https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/MikroTik+wired+interface+compatibility#MikroTikwiredinterfacecompatibility-SFP+/SFP28interfacecompatibilitywith2.5Gtransceivers

This chart lists both the CRS328 and the RB4011 as compatible with 2.5Gbps SFP modules, yet I have a RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD that’s running 7.12.2 and a CRS328-24P-4S+ also running 7.12.2, the CRS328 will link up and connect at 2.5Gbps data rate (/interface ethernet set [ find default-name=sfp-sfpplus1 ] auto-negotiation=no speed=2.5G-baseX) yet the RB4011 will not with the same settings. I’ve tried swapping modules between the 4011 and the 328 just to make sure that I don’t have a bad module, but the 4011 just isn’t connecting over 2.5Gbps. The same device has no issue connecting if I swap in a 1Gbps module and turn on auto-neg.

Has anyone used the 4011 SFP+ port at 2.5Gbps using a newer build (or any) of ROS?

I have tried (a few times) and also failed to get a 2.5g connection working on an RB4011 :frowning:

edit: Note my RB4011 is an old one, I believe they have had a couple of versions of RB4011.
