4011 and wifiwave2

any known plans to have the 2.4G working on the 4011 with the wifiwave2 package?

As far as I understand no. The 2.4GHz wireless interface on the RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD is not compatible with the wifiwave2 package. It will not be usable with the package installed.

I know that too.
According to the docs:

Maybe someone from MT can explain if there are any plans?

Support for 2.4GHz interface for RB4011 while using the WifiWave2 package is not planned at this time.

Please keep in mind that the 4011 can perform very well in 5Ghz with the wifiwave2 package, but the lack of 2.4g is a no-go to deploy in our home customer’s enveroniment.
Please think about leaving 5G with the wave2, and the 2.4 with the standard package.

I am wondering who could use the 4011 with the 5ghz only wireless…
