411 vs 133c

Is Mikrotik phasing out the 133c in place of the 411? It appears the 411 board is superior in specs. Is there
a reason to still buy the 133c boards?

Eric

for those who have problems with v. 3.xx OS…

Well, I just bought a bunch of 411’s. Hopefully they have good performance.

the RB400 is many many times faster …

Normis,

what means “many, many times faster”? What can we get with 5G-Turbo bridging?

Regards

Thomas

I`ve got about real 25 mbps with 5Ghz and nstreme

I really like these boards… one one link I get about 30mb tcp one way

If you only need one ethernet and one radio card this is the way to go.

Scott

I really like the throughput on these. These are definitely more powerful than the 133’s. Is there a level 4 license version of this card?

Yes RB411 is every good routerboard I am using it as Ap and station

The RB133c and RB411 have level3, the RB133 has level4. (Level3 CPE no AP) (Level4 CPE and AP)
The RB133c and RB411 have 1 ethernet and 1 miniPCI, the RB133 has 2 etherand 2 miniPCI.

I’m not sure why the RB100’s were not marked as RB111 and RB132. And maybe add the L3 and L4 for the level. But then again if the end user upgrade the board to level4 it could get confusing.

I hope to see a RB432 or RB422 with level4 because with the end of the RB532 line the RB333 is the only option and that leaves us looking for a new enclosure. The Pacwireless DCE-7x6x2 @ $20.00 was great. But now we have to upgrade to the QLW DCE-H-LG @ $45.00. Adding $25.00 to the price is not good. And NO I don’t want to use any plastic case at all.

it’s because we used to have a 111 and 112

Hello I need to set encryption on my wireless network I am using RB133c and RB411 please how can I get it done

Very nice  But do they come with a integrated antenna box? (Like the RIC522C). If that is the case I want the new rb411. If not I am afraid we have to stick with the rb133c in the RIC522C option.

Any forecast on this?

So are there plans for a level 4 license/3 ethernet version of this card? It would make a very good mini-repeater.

Eric

Thats like asking if there is an 18 wheeled 800HP diesel version of a vw bug available one day.

No. But there is a RB333 and RB600 that are available that are what you just asked…

And… you can upgrade the license on the RB411 to whatever verison you require.

Scott

Every product has it’s lifetime, so probably you will see many new products this year …

Yes, but you don’t anymore and is the 133’s not a replacement for the 112’s. It could have been the 111b and 132b.
I guess I just liked the way you’ll did the last two numbers for the ethers and slots.

I think I spy a level 4 version of the 411. Still only one eth/mpci; but still not bad. Looks like 64MB ram.

Eric

There is also a rb450 and I hear theres a rb433 board with level4.

Hey Bill. Did you ever get round to testing a couple of 411’s back to back? Seems the 411 outperforms both the old RB532 and the RB333 so going to run some tests to see how close to the RB600 they get on wireless performance.
