We have been buying RB433AH boards since they were first released.
For a long time we were seeing the reported file system space of 520MB. This seemed odd to us with a RAM of only 128MB and 64MB of NAND (see image). Sometimes we see boards that report 1044MB. Other times we get boards that report 64MB. If we could count on getting boards that have 1044MB or 520MB, there are lots of things we could do with the storage. Like keeping log data for a long time, putting manuals on the router, and other like stuff.
Is this just a programming bug and there is really only 64MB? We have tested and stored much more than this, so we think this is not the case.
How hard would it be to standardize the NAND to something more like 520MB rather than “randomly anything larger than 64MB”
