45 km - recomendations

Hello people! I will install a link point to point 45km in rural area. Point A is at an altitude of 1.800mts, the point B at 1000 mts. According to their experience, what recommendations you would make me to have a link with good and reliable BW. What antenna do you recommend and what should I use power. I have 2 RB433AH available, each with a radio of 1000mW, I am missing the antennas. The line of sight is perfect and the interference is minimal.
customer needs 6mb. Thank you very much for your comments!!! bye

You have 1000mw radios?
I have never seen a real minipci 1000mw radio. What is the brand and model of this device?

you don’t need 1W radios for this distance. 300mW would be enough. you need good high-dbi antennas and clear line of sight

Hello, thank you very much for your comments!
The radio is AWPCI085H high-power 802.11a/b/g mini PCI - Alpha Networks, I will make the respective tests and then tell them how I was.

My friend look here http://www.tiktube.com/?video=196

First of all you need to clear line of sight. you may use program like RadioMobile to calculate the path.
Good mini-pci card with MMCX connector like R5H or XR5
Good antenna, like this http://en.jirous.com/antenna-5ghz/jrc-29
and good NType-NType cable.

well i never used 1000 mw and i dont know what band are u using but i recommend u to less output power maybe 500 mw and a good antennas like solid parabolics of 32.5 dbi gain

offset antennas are better than parabolic ones

By the way changing the radio to increase it from 350mw to 1000mw or 1W is adding only 5dbm to the TX link, and using radios like XR5 600mw is 28dbm so it’s only 2 db far from the 1 watt .

as a conclusion buying a 4watt amplifier with 24db antenna is exactly like using a 600mw only with 32dbi dish, and the overall cost will be much less, and the noise that you are going to produce is much more that will interfere with your own link when using the amplifier option.

So its not always about the Tx power, it is more about a good antenna. But radios that has a good reputation like R5H,XR 5, Xr2, r52 is the way to go.

exactly. amplifier - bad idea. antenna - good idea.

thanks for the recommendations, I have 2 Ubiquiti mini pci XR5 28dBm and 2 antenna 29dBi for testing.

good things we can learn from people experiences

thank everyone for their contributions

It is working link 35km. He took RB433AH, R5H and 29dBi solid antennas, giving a bandwidth of 25Mb, of course I took into account all suggestions.

thank
