450g LED meaning

Im new so be easy on me!

Got a 450 and learned to get a basic config up for local office, lights up as expected with green link light
and bliking orange activity.
Bought another that I thought was the same but turned out to be 450g. Now the only time i see a green light is when I plug my laptop into it. All other switches hub show just an orange activity. Have things work ( mostly) but having some troubles…wanting to rule out the obviouse , that it its slugged down to 10mb instead of 100.

Because the 450g is 10/100/1000 am I only going to see green on a 1000mbit connection?

Both are running ROS 3.25 and firmware 2.20

i think you can get 1000 connection and blinking green light, same as my rb450g connected to my gigabit switch then the lights blinking green.

Thats enough confermation for me to go buy a gigabit switch , need to see the green
