I have 2 RB493G. I join them with a cat5e cable do a TCP Bandwidth test between them and I can only get 179Mbps. These boards are sold as Gigabyte boards why am I not getting 950ish Mbps.
If I test UDP I get about 820Mbps
is this board not capable of doing 1G TCP
Same thing with a cat6 cable
Are your traffic generators powerful enough to generate such amount of tcp traffic? Or are you doing the same fault like many others already described hundreds times here on the forum?

I am doing it from the bandwidth tester built in to Router OS so I guess that is my problem?
