4G LHG speed drops after a week or so

I need to reboot the 4G-LHG once a week to maintain max 4G speeds and low ping. Memory seems OK <40MiB, CPU seems OK <10%, connections <100.

manufacturer: “MikroTik”
model: “R11e-LTE”
revision: “MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v010”
earfcn: xxxx (band 7, bandwidth 20Mhz)
rsrp: -86dBm
rsrq: -8.5dB
sinr: 22dB
cqi: 15

What to check for? Has anyone had this problem? Maybe it would be best to set it into bridge mode?

Happened again, high ping and low speed. This time, instead of reboot, I fixed the issue with disable - enable the lte interface.

It not solves the problem but can help you to avoid the task.

Create a scheduler that reboots your LTE interface every week:

Each 7 days at 04:00 reboots the interface.

Regards.

Thanks krafg, I’ll give it a try.

Same Problem here, but after a few hours. I already disable and re-enable the interface twice a day, but still I’ve got speed drops twice a day.

installed: R11e-LTE6_V025
latest: R11e-LTE6_V025

That’s strange, it got me thinking, maybe it’s power related? For example, power supply is failing or not very good quality. I have the original power supply and the POE injector that came with the LHG. How about you?

I have hEX PoE as a switch, maybe I’ll give it a try without the original power supply.

edit:

Can’t do it:

Powering
The device accepts powering only from Passive PoE injectors.

Looks like, it’s finally fixed. I upgraded LTE modem firmware to v018.

I can affirm, seems to be fixed with ros 7.xx and current firmware.
