Others reported 100% CPU spikes with ROS 5.x . What I see is similar. It starts with CPU spikes and goes into 100% CPU utilization and locks up. I was able to catch the spikes once in winbox and since then I just see that it locks up.
So I repeated the experiement with ROS in Virtualbox … and please see the screenshots when ROS 5.2 locks up. The first screenshot shows the 100% CPU utilization
