I have to install 2 links of about 50 km (52KM and 49 KM).
I need recomendations about the hardware to use. I read many posts about using XR5, R52Hn, or SR71-15’s, about using nstreme or nv2, and using mimo/n or single channel.. using 32dBi dishes without brand or using 29dBi jirous or the ubiquity N antennas. All is very ambiguous.
I will use RB800 or RB433AHs.. this is CLEAR. xD

I recently built a system at 32km with the following setup:
HDDA5W-32-DP (Pac Wireless…now Laird. Good $$/Performance and you can get a fiberglass radome cover.)
RB600 (This was purchased last year. You’d be into an 800 now.)
R52nM (N-mode, 20Mhz channel, 5845Mhz, Nstreme, 2x2 MIMO)
Receive signal was around -55 with throughput around 70Mbps. You’ll lose another 5-6db over your distance, but a low 60’s at 50km is pretty good and will still leave you decent rain fade margin. If you have the spectrum available go for the 40mhz channel and your results should be even better. You’ll have to fabricate a stiff-arm for the dish, but no big deal.
For a slightly cheaper version, less wind loading version of that you could replace the solid dish with a 29dBi grid from the same company.
I’ve got a 24 mile link with a 29 and a 26. Quite stable. XR5 on one end, R52H on the other. Both tx power turned down to get the signal in the mid -70’s, keep self interference down on each tower.

Those Pac grids are good. I’ve used a ton of them in the past. More recently I’ve also had very good luck with Poynting’s grids. They very rugged construction (for a grid), come with a good solid bracket and a coax connector method that won’t skin your fingers trying to tape it up.
I can’t comment on long term exposure. The oldest Poynting’s I have in the air are 2-3 years. But I have Pac’s grids that are over 5 years and still going strong. Actually…funny story; I had a older Pac 29db dish that was put up in 2005 on a tower in a coastal town. Windy, salt-air environment. Never had any trouble with it but last year when doing maintenance on a different system on the same tower I took a look at that dish and the paint had long since been blasted off and the grid material itself had corroded down to 25% of it’s original thickness in most areas. Some parts were as thin as guitar strings. But the received signal on that dish never changed by more than a few db. Small enough that we never noticed, or chalked it up to small movements of the mount/deformation of the bracket…etc. Anyway…replaced it. But I was still impressed.
