We plan to implement a wireless link for the distance of 55 kms and we expecting min 20 mbps throughput. i’ve enclosed elevation profile of the two sites. Pls friends guide me in this case in choosing the right product and tower erection considerations.
i don’t know much about your budget but for 55 km i would go for 2 solid dishes 90 cm (32-33 dbi) dual polarity and R52Hn wireless card using NV2 protocol. For the board i could suggest rb433ah or something similar based on your needs (bridging , routing, etc…)
You also have to simulate a link budget to see where your fresnel zone is going to be (at least 60% of the fresnel zone).
You will find a lot of free tools on the web if you try to google “wireless link budget”.

Use Radio Mobile and check what height the towers should be. If I write exact geo coordinates for both sides of the link, I can try to make the simulation for you.
