Hi, I am having an issue with my Mikrotik RB5009 (ROSv7.11.2), I own Quectel RM500Q-GL USB modem (this adapter https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003952829784.html) and I switched it to MBIM driver mode via AT+QCFG=“usbnet”,2 as per the supported driver under peripherals https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Peripherals#Peripherals-Cellularmodems
Whenever I connect the modem to my RB5009 via the USB port, it doesn’t show up under LTE (I even tried the ECM mode) nor can I connect to it via PPP, tried it with the hAP ac2 (ROS v7.9.1) and it didn’t work there either, so that should rule out a hardware problem, it shows under Resources → USB but that’s about it. The modem works on OpenWRT without any issues and does so on Windows as well (in the ECM mode) just not in Mikrotik, any help/advice is appreciated and I am ready to share whatever is needed to get to the root of the problem, thank you!
