We have a pair of 711G’s being used as backhauls. I upgraded them from 6.7 to 6.15 about a week or 2 ago. Last night the slave side suddenly would not register. It saw the AP at a -50 but was reporting ranging errors. I rebooted both ends and they linked back up after rebooting the AP side, but would not pass any traffic. I eventually noticed that the slave ends wireless config had changed from “station bridge” to “station” and the “20/40 HT Above” had changed to “20 Mhz”. I set them back and all is well now.
This link has been up for a couple years with zero problems until now. Is this a 6.15 bug? I can’t find reference to it in my searches. I’m nervous because we updated the entire network to 6.15. I know better than to do that too, should have left well enough alone with 6.7.
Any ideas?
