Last week I recently updated routerboard RB2011UiAS-2HND-IN to new OS version 6.17.
on friday thre was a recent power failure in local power supply provider, and since than on Display I see only starting services for 4min and than just keeps rebooting.
Unfortunately in this rebooting state it’s not managable, therefore question is if I can get into router and at least harvest logs ,or start single mode in order to avoid services failures.
Hello guys from MikroTik, had a problem with RouterBoard SXT Lite2 2.4GHZ
Model RBSXT2nDr2 when
updated to version 6.15 for 6.17 on the date of 07.23.2014, as follows.
1 -) did update via cable and RouterBoard and everything was
normal. installed and worked OK.
2 -) when turned off the electric power the roterboard reconnect the
RouterBoard did not return.
I just had two SEXTANT G 5HPnD’s do a similar thing. I have a ‘config’ file that I paste to term window when I’m setting up. Both were 5.2x. Worked fine after setup in the van. Once it was installed, all the led’s blink in a repeated pattern. After second one did it, I checked CAT5 with a fluke tester. It showed pins 1&2 and 4&5 were crossed instead of 4-5, 7-8. I ran new CAT5. Same thing.. I plugged one back in at our van, and got the same pattern of blinkiing LED’s. Installed a SXT and no problem.
If I press the reset button and plug in, it will boot fine and work until the next power cycle.
