6.31 took away Debug mode and Caused me grief.

Can there be some kind of checksum-mode that happens before an update or an ‘automatic - rollback’ mode After update if connection is lost ?

I read the documentation changelog and there was nothing written about loosing debug mode, and all my radios were set to albania which caused me grief. I got it taken care of, but I do not appreciate this problem. Technology can be created in a way that this will never happen again, and if it does break the link, it should automatically reset back.

Channels are missing now and debug mode in wireless is missing now too.

Please fix, and fix the documentation for mikrotik.

Thank you,
-JC

what frequency and country, channel width you had specified in older version?
From what version you upgraded to v6.31?

My Gear was at 6.29.1 and was using DEBUG for country code.

send me PM if you want to know technical details of my link. I do not want to post technical data on public form.

please write to support@mikrotik.com so we could check what happened after upgrade.

What is this “Debug for country code” that you mean exactly? Give us more info, I don’t understand what you mean.

How is it that you do not know about Debug country code for wireless when you are product manufacturer…

Previous to 6.31 version, there was coutry called Debug that allowed every channel… much more granularity in selection
for diagnostic and noise avoidance purposes.

6.31 removed all Debug country code and channels.

Very angry about this.
