Hello,
I’m trying to set up kid control on my hEX router, but without success so far.
- I’ve tried on WebFig first, but it seems that the edition of slots does not work: each time I select a range (start, end), it simply keep only the end time and generate (end, end) entry. Also, I just don’t understand how to have multiple slots.
- Using the command line. First the parallel between command line values and the one found on WebFig is sometimes unclear to me (must be related to the problems above with WebFig). Lets’ ignore Webfig and try to use only the command line :
- “/ip kid-control print” seems to be restricted to only 8 characters for each day. So when you have minutes, the output is truncated and I haven’t found an easy way to display the entry for one day
- I haven’t found a way to enter multiple slots. I’ve tried “/ip kid-control edit” then selected the raw and the day, then added multiple lines => it takes (as far as I understand the maximal range that contains all the listed ranges. Not working to me.
- In WebFig, there are “Pause duration” and “Pause till” => sounds great!.. But I haven’t found the counterpart on the command line…
- (less important) when the control for a kid is paused, the device (with “/ip kid-control device print”) is reported as blocked, which is not the case
Am i missing something (it really can be!) and is it considered as usable? Looking at the changes for 6.43RC, I do not see any entry regarding this functionality, so is it just me?
Thanks!
