6.42.9 won't accept new scripts

Hi I’ve been trying to roll out a new default configuration to some RB2011’s

I’ve been able to do this on version 6.39.2. I export the script I want, ensure that it successfully loads from a no config state with verbose=yes. Then use that script in net install to program this into routers where using the reset button I can go back to my base config. Works fine.

I’ve approached it the same for 6.42.9 but I’ve had no luck the router gets updated but no config is set in the router, it has no config at all and a reset changes nothing.
I’ve since tried the same approach. (I have altered the script to work with the new bridge mechanics opposed to switch groups and mac-server only accepting interface lists).

I also tried loading the 6.42.9 default config (which is just an IP address not filter rules) only altering the comment attached to IP address 192.168.88.1. This had the same result no config was loaded at all. Has anyone else experienced issues with 6.42.9.

added a 10 second delay and all is well. I guess I should be checking that the interfaces are up before anything else.
system default-configuration print shows a 5 second delay before applying config for mikrotik’s own default config:
