6.47.X not enough space to update

Hi,

I’m managing thousands of hAP Lites which we all know have limited space. Before 6.47 the problems with upgrading were sporadically happening.
These days with 6.47 I have locations where only a few % of routers will upgrade (via capsman). Most of them will just pop up an error and the only way to upgrade them is to manually upload selected packages.

I know all of the changes will take space but shouldn’t the smips package for hAP lite have reduced size or some other solution so this process would go smoothly?

I know this is mostly a question for Mikrotik employees…

Yes it was. Without any proper solution as far as I’m aware (wiping the whole system or doing netinstall is not a real solution that could be implemented with hundreds/thousands of units)
