this is my situation:
PPPoe server on CCR2004
no rules, just testing.
1G fiber to the customer test router.
PLAIN pppoe config.
the interface where the customer is listening needs a VLAN TAG on it.
/ppp profile
add change-tcp-mss=yes dns-server=100.72.31.254 insert-queue-before=bottom local-address=100.72.31.254 name=pppoe_testr only-one=yes parent-queue=“customers” queue-type=default-small rate-limit=unlimited/unlimited remote-ipv6-prefix-pool=
Pool-v6 use-compression=no use-encryption=yes use-upnp=no
If I put encryption NO, the speed is perfect.
If I put encryption YES the speed is about 30M
no CPU issues.
AC is 2004
customer test router is HAp AC2 with latest bugfix.
is there a special fix or tune for MTU and VLAN?
I left all default.
