I have a 6km link with 2.4 ghz 24dbi grids, rb532, sr2’s, but only like 7 feet fresnel zone I only can achive 1 Mbps with good pings of 5 - 8 ms, one of the sites is a tower of 130 feet that can’t be upgraded because of the base space. How can I achive like 5 Mbps real bandwith without upgrading the heights???
are you using B or G modulation? I have found that B is better on bad links as the radios are more sensitive. On the otherhand that is a lot of gain you have try turning down the radio power.
